Victorian Dress pt. 6 - apron

For the apron, I used the TV365 pattern:

It is made out of silk dupioni in rosè:

The hem is decorated with self-fabric knife-pleats overlayed with a lace border:

For fastening, I used buttons and (invisible from the outside) machine-sewn buttonholes, hook and eye closure and a snap fastener:

Victorian Dress pt. 5 - basic skirt

The whole costume will be made out of silk dupioni in grey and rosè.

For the basic skirt, I used the TV 261 pattern, which is very easy and straighforward to sew. It just uses up tons of fabric ...

The hem is decorated with knife pleats (which eat up even more fabric!), a satin ribbon and creme coloured trimming.
